Outrageous Fortune CD with the RNCM Wind Band now available
After a number of years of waiting the eagerley awaited Nigel Clarke Symphony for Trombone, Wind Band and Actor is finally available on the Polyphonic Label.
“Outrageous Fortune” – the latest addition to Polyphonic’s Great British Music for Wind Band (Volume 23) includes music from Nigel Clarke, Philip Sparke, Rob Wiffin and Martin Ellerby. Brett Baker and Natalie Grady feature in the title track, a symphony for solo trombone, actor and band and The Royal Northern College of Music Wind Orchestra deliver some wonderful colours and technique throughout this landmark recording. They are joined by the fantastic Kantos Chamber Choir for Martin Ellerby’s eight movement A Little Symphony of English Carols
The album is dedicated to the memory of Stan Kitchen & Richard Scott.
