Brett appointed at Royal Buckley Band
Brett Baker has taken on the position of Musical Advisor at the Royal Buckley Band in North Wales.
Development
The partnership will also involve Brett assisting in the development of young conductors, young soloists and composers. It will allow students to get valuable teaching experience through the bands respective youth band and training band programmes.
Alumni of the University of Salford will also be involved to further their musical experiences with valuable solo and conducting links.
Forward thinking
Brett told 4BR: “The team at Salford has engaged in many positive relationships with leading bands in the North of England which we continue to nurture.
These new associations with forward thinking bands will give students the best possible experiences as well as give the bands exciting opportunities to work with the brass and percussion stars of the future.”
